Volunteers
Volunteers help 10CORE provide the public with “access to justice through legal literacy.” Volunteers are unpaid but appreciated for the important services they provide. Below please find brief descriptions of the volunteer services needed for each one of 10CORE’s Programs:
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
SYMPOSIA
10CORE S.W.A.G.
LAW STUDENTS, NON-PROFITS, AND COMMUNITY GROUPS
Law students, non-profits, and community groups (EO-Volunteers) play a vital role in three ways:
First:10CORE volunteers help identify relevant programming. Typically, topics involve pressing property issues within communities.
Second: Once identified, EO-Volunteers help tailor the discussion by making sure that the material provided at
each townhall meetings is relevant and impactful. Through this process, EO-Volunteers are simultaneously helping 10CORE identify speakers whose expertise will fill the void to help people understand their rights and options.
Third: EO-Volunteers help 10CORE market townhall meeting(s) to “get the word out” so speakers can share their wealth of information.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
To accomplish the objectives of the Educational Outreach Program, 10CORE collaborates with two types of Volunteers:
REQUIREMENTS
Currently, 10CORE is looking to add “you” or your organization to its list of EO-Volunteers from across the country. If interested in being part of the 10CORE TEAM, please send an email (reflecting your interest, along with your resume or information about your nonprofit or community group) to the following email address:

SPEAKERS: LAWYERS, LAW PROFESSORS, AND OTHER SUBJECT MATTER REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

Depending upon the topic, 10CORE collaborates with licensed professionals, elected officials, and real estate professionals (EOS- Volunteers) to help it educate the public. EOS-Volunteers use their expertise to provide the public with information, not legal advice, and do not solicit the public.

To accomplish the objectives of the Symposia Program, 10CORE collaborates with speakers locally and nationally.
ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS, BAR ASSOCIATIONS, FOUNDATIONS,
GOVERNMENTAL UNITS, LAWYERS, LAW PROFESSORS, AND OTHER
REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

SYMPOSIA
10CORE collaborates with local and national organizations, lawyers, law professors, officials, and real estate professionals (S-Volunteers) to host symposia designed to address legal and policy issues impacting communities. Through Symposia, S-Volunteers use their expertise to change the future while acknowledging the past and provide thoughtful presentations on a variety of property related topics.

10CORE S.W.A.G.
To accomplish the objectives of the 10CORE S.W.A.G. Program, 10CORE collaborates with two types of Volunteers:
LAW STUDENTS
10CORE needs law students to act as teaching assistants for S.W.A.G. Faculty. (Student S.W.A.G.-Volunteers).

REQUIREMENTS:
Student S.W.A.G.-Volunteers must have taken Property I and Property II, be
in good academic standing, and able to attend virtual training sessions and
five live classes each semester (during the fall and spring). If interested,

ARCHITECTS, BANKERS, DEVELOPERS, GENERAL CONTRACTORS, REAL ESTATE LAWYERS, REALTORS, REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS, SURVEYORS, TITLE INSURANCE COMPANIES AND OTHER REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS
Licensed real estate professionals are also an integral part of the 10CORE S.W.A.G. Program (S.W.A.G.-Volunteers). Together with the S.W.A.G. Faculty, they make the classroom experience engaging and practical. S.W.A.G. Volunteers are only required to attend or participate virtually in one pre-scheduled class.
