Since 2010, the 10CORE Law Society has been educating the public to build and rebuild communities one person, one family, and one community at a time.

In 2018, 10CORE added the Self, Wealth, Achieving Greatness (S.W.A.G.) Program to help high school students “purchase” their first “home(s).” Dr. Derrick R. Coleman, Superintendent of River Rouge Schools, stated the following about the S.W.A.G. Program:

 

I have long held fast to the belief children rarely become what they have not seen. Consequently, there is no way children can break generational curses without being able to have access to information and other resources, which provide them with a vehicle to overcome the challenges found in their respective ecosystems.

The 10CORE Law Society has taken on this mountain to demonstrate to others that it can be moved. It is an honor for the River Rouge School District to partner with this groundbreaking organization and share this knowledge with our community.

I am in full support of the 10CORE Law Society and its plan to disseminate desperately needed knowledge for children and families in the River Rouge School District and other communities with similar socioeconomic conditions.

To get empowered, attend an educational outreach event, a housing symposium, or take one of our innovative courses through 10CORE’s S.W.A.G. Program (taught live or virtually at your local high school, community college, community center or place of worship).
